The ideas are from the natural world but painted from the imagination.

This allows exploration of colours you would not normally see in the real world, and so developing many different styles.

Painted on Cinese art paper Xuan which is based on bamboo. Hai Shuet Yeung uses crumpled paper to paint as well as traditional Chinese brush and black ink, plus mixed media.

These paintings are a new form of Chinese art. no more just brush and ink Kung Fu.
